In May 2005, after a long wait, he arrived ... And took our hearts and those of many judges by storm. NZ CH Guilcroft Red Ochre (imp Aust) Bred by Pamela & Garth Harding from Guilcroft Kennels in Australia, Oak was everything and more any serious Border Terrier kennel could hope for. The proud holder of over 200 Challenges, he also held the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Certificate of Merit. ** Dogzonline Best Border Terrier in 2007, 2008 & 2009 ** New Zealand's Top Border Terrier of the Year in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 (Border Terrier Club) ** Crufts Qualifier in 2006 & 2007 ** He attended two National Dog Shows at which he took the Dog Challenge Certificate at both occasions - the first at only 18 months of age. He went on to take Runner Up Best of Breed in 2006 (shown by our friend Giselle Fletcher who kindly stepped in to help when I couldn't attend) and Best of Breed in 2007.

His many Group wins, Classes in Group, Classes in Show are now too many to list and we thank all the judges who readily and easily recognised and acknowledged his outstanding qualities. Oak loves the show ring and the show ring loves him.
We are very grateful to Pamela and Garth for entrusting us with this precious boy. He has in his blood some of the best Border Terrier lines in Europe, perfectly complementing the lines of our bitches.
